UAHT Outstanding Staff Award winner honored at ACC Conference


The 2016 UofA Hope-Texarkana Outstanding Staff Award winner, Shaun Clark, was honored for his accomplishment at the Annual Arkansas Community Colleges (ACC) Conference in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on Monday, October 10.

Shaun has served as the Director of Industry Outreach and Continuing Education at UAHT since 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Arkansas State University, a Master of Science from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, and is currently working towards a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

As his award nomination letter states, “Shaun is dependable, has a cheerful attitude and a good working relationship with his clients and peers. His willingness to help others on campus makes him a valuable employee. He always represents the college in a professional manner and is an active participant in college events. I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this award.”

“I encourage all of you to take part in activities that bring goodwill to your community, either at work or after work, as this is one of those things that keeps us grounded as individuals and cohesive as a family,” Clark commented.
