As the flood waters begin to recede in Bowie County, Texas and Miller County, Arkansas; the American Red Cross has closed all shelters. The shelters will remain on standby until tomorrow afternoon when all equipment and supplies are scheduled to return to the local chapter.
The American Red Cross will continue to support those affected by flooding of the Red River on a case by case basis.
The Red Cross has established a hotline at 1-877-500-8645 to support anyone who may still need assistance. Information will also be posted to the Red Cross Facebook page at. https://www.facebook.com/redcrossnetexas
