Texarkana Texas Police arrested Stanley Brockman, 52, of Texarkana Texas, for Burglary of a Vehicle on August 2, 2015.

At approximately 12:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the area of West 10th and Stuckey Streets.  According to the 9-1-1 caller, the man had been observed looking into unattended vehicles on the Mount Orange Baptist Church parking lot.  Arriving officers located Brockman, who immediately dropped several items that he was carrying and fled.  He was arrested without incident after a short foot pursuit.

Officers located two vehicles that had been burglarized in the parking lot and determined the items that Brockman dropped had been removed from them.  The stolen property was recovered and returned to the owners, who had been attending church services there when their vehicles were broken into.

Brockman was transported to the Bi-State Jail.  He was charged with two counts of Burglary of a Vehicle and one count of Evading Arrest.  His bond has been set at $15,000.
