The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 278 held a memorial ceremony today at the Vietnam & Korean War memorial. The names of around 40 locals who had died in Iraq & Afghanistan were read aloud by Don Ruggles and Judge Larry Burgess.
Matthew Butler, who served twice in Operation Iraqi Freedom, played patriotic themed music between the name readings, gold star presentation to family member of KIA, and a POW table ceremony.
