More than one hundred and forty-five volunteers from the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana and Hope Public School District gathered today at the U of A Hope campus to help combat hunger with The Pack Shack.
In just an hour and a half, the “Feed the Funnel Party” volunteers were able to pack 31,000 meals that will be donated to the Harvest Regional Food Bank.
The Pack Shack’s mission is to increase awareness about hunger issues affecting communities, provide food and other items to nonprofits, and encourage people to get involved with the local nonprofits serving their neighbors.
