Walmart’s Evacuated 2nd Time in 3 Days Over Bomb Threat

The Walmart at 4000 Walton Drive, Texarkana, Texas, received another phone in bomb threat 1 p.m. Easter Sunday. The store was evacuated for about 45 minutes while the store was searched. No bomb was found and the store soon reopened.

Walmart spokesperson Kayla Whaling confirmed by phone that just the Texarkana, TX Walmart evacuated and closed for about 45 minutes today due to a bomb threat. TTPD Public Information Officer Aaron Bower said the caller was female but did not provide further details.

This follows the evacuation of 4 area Walmarts Friday when an area man that has since been arrested called in bomb threats.
