Westside Church of Christ to host food distribution Saturday
The Westside Church of Christ will distribute food boxes Saturday, Aug. 15, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at 524 Sowell Lane, Texarkana, while supplies last.
The Westside Church of Christ will host a food distribution Saturday, Aug. 15, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. — or until all boxes are gone — at 524 Sowell Lane, Texarkana, Texas.
The church will have a little more than 200 boxes available, and the distribution is open to residents of both Arkansas and Texas. One box will be provided per household.
Under the church’s new procedure, those picking up boxes are asked to park in the parking lot and come inside the building to get their ticket before receiving a box. Registration takes place in the new building, which is marked with a food pantry banner.
