1:45 a.m. Saturday | A woman was transported to a local hospital after being shot in the shoulder at the Paradise Club in the 2500 block of E. 9th Street Saturday night.
According to police radio traffic the shots came from a car and struck a woman inside the club.
Police closed off the parking lot area with crime scene tape where numerous shell casings could be seen on the ground.
Although a suspect was not on scene when police arrived according to police radio traffic a possible suspect was arrested a short time later.
The victims condition is unknown at this time.
