TEXARKANA, TEXAS – The Texarkana, Texas, Police Department continue to investigate the shooting at the 13 Hermanos Carniceria, a store located in the 2300 block of New Boston Road.
It appears that this incident was a robbery attempt, said Shawn M. Vaughn, public information officer with the TTPD.
“The victim has been identified as Luciano Dominguez of Hope, Ark. “He was transported to Wadley Regional Medical Center last night following the shooting.” As of 12:40 p.m., Dominguez was in “stable but critical condition,” according to officials at Wadley.
Late last night, officers arrested a male juvenile,14, and charged him with aggravated robbery and evading arrest on foot. Additional charges against the juvenile may be filed very soon. More arrests are also expected.
