Arvil Fred Brimer, age 83, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025. He was born on January 25, 1942, in Lewisville, Arkansas, to Naomi and Lloyd Brimer.
Arvil spent his working years as a terminal manager with Southern Transit. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, playing cards, dining out, and spending time with family and friends. He was known by his family as the most outgoing, loving, and caring man, and he possessed a wonderful sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Brimer; his son, Dennis Brimer; his parents, Naomi and Lloyd Brimer; his brothers, Don Brimer and Sherman Brimer; and his brother-in-law, Ralph Johnson.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Kathy Ellis, Kelly Terry, Deana Mendez, and Jessica Tracker; his sister, Joyce Johnson; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
