Virginia Beth Williams, age 85 of Texarkana, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Williams was born August 20, 1935 in Frederick, Oklahoma and lived in Texarkana most of her life. She was a sweet and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many. Beth enjoyed playing the piano and used her many talents to serve the Lord and others. She was a member of Beech Street First Baptist Church since 1965, where she taught Sunday School for over forty years and sang in the choir. She always had a word of encouragement or a smile to give to a friend or a person passing by. She was a retired school teacher with Wake Village Elementary School, teaching 1st grade for 30 years until her retirement in 1995.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Wayne Williams of Texarkana, Arkansas; one son, Jeff Williams and his wife Susan of Colville, Washington; one daughter, Jennifer Baugh and her husband Joey Baugh of Star City, Arkansas; nine grandchildren: Owen Williams of Port Angeles, Washington, Asa Williams of Chesapeake, Virginia, Clary Baugh of Burbank, California, Laura Biasca of Santiago, Chile, Bethany Holda of Ithaca, New York, David Baugh of Orange Walk Town, Belize, Katie Jo Sibert of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Abel Baugh of Star City, Arkansas and Mary Baugh of Little Rock, Arkansas; thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of friends and other relatives.
