Chris Littlejohn

Charles Christian “Chris” Littlejohn, age 59, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Saturday, January 17, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Chris was born on January 22, 1966, in Oceanside, California, and was a lifetime resident of Texarkana, Arkansas. He was formerly employed with the City of Texarkana, Texas, serving with the Parks and Recreation Department. Some of Chris’s happiest moments were spent watching his grandchildren at every sporting event, cheering them on with pride and unwavering love. Even on days when he was too sick to attend in person, Chris’s family would record the games so he could watch them later. He never wanted to miss a moment, especially when it came to his grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman; he loved duck hunting and fishing and found peace in nature. He was also a huge New Orleans Saints fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Oliver Littlejohn; grandmother, Norma Duncan Prunes; and his grandsons, Kipp McCatherine and Koda McCatherine.
He is survived by his wife, Kim McCatherine Littlejohn of Texarkana, Arkansas; His mother, Jo Ann Littlejohn of Texarkana, Arkansas; one sister, Shawna Murphy and her husband, Chris McAdams; one aunt, Dona Darling, his children, Kirsten Littlejohn, Casey McCatherine and wife, Kalee; Kyle McCatherine and wife, Keely; Katelyn Taylor and husband, Trey; Colton McCatherine; fourteen grandchildren; Lillian Howard, Declan Icenhower, Desmon Icenhower, Willow Icenhower, Jax Taylor, Brian McCatherine, Piper McGuiness, Robbie McGuiness, Conner McGuinness, Kaiden McCatherine, Karter McCatherine, Knox McCatherine, Paisley Mathews, Tripp Mathews, his Bonus Kids, Eddie Lee and Jordan Mathews, Robby and Tori McGuinness; his extended family, Thomas and Genie Harness and a host of friends and other relatives.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
