Claude Carlile, 79, of Redwater, Texas, passed away on January 26, 2026. He was born July 29, 1946 to Zelmar Claude Carlile, Sr. and Jewell Weems Carlile, in Oklahoma.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brother, and two sisters.
He loved God, fishing, and playing horseshoes. Claude was a wonderful husband, fantastic father, brother, and the greatest Papaw.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years Linda Carlile; two sons Kevin Carlile and wife April, Scott Carlile and wife Aaron; daughter Shannon Carlile all of Redwater, Texas; 9 grandchildren RJ, Shelby, Carson, Dylan, Reghan, Brody, Braven, Kaylee, and Braylee; 5 great grandchildren Kayson, Blaize, Berkley, Kashton, Huxton, and one on the way; one brother Mack Carlile; and three sisters Barbara Steele, Charlene Phillips, and Winola Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Chaplewood Funeral Home Chapel with visitation starting at 1:00 PM.
