Dale was born in DeKalb, on November 3, 1952, to Boyd and Inez Yarberry. He retired from Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. and was a Christian. His retirement years were well spent with his first love, his entire family, on amazing vacations and at various sporting events, while continuing to pursue his passion of hunting and fishing. Dale was known for his remarkable memory of dates, times, places, music and weights of fish and he told the best hunting tales. He was passing on his love of the outdoors to his grandchildren who all have their own tales to tell of life with PePaw. Dale was a true friend and perfect caretaker of his family and declared by many to be the strongest, smartest, hardest working man they ever met and a master fisherman, expert hunter, and genius problem solver.
