Edward Taylor Horn, 59, passed away at home on Sunday, December 14, 2025. Edward was born on September 10, 1966, in Texarkana, Texas to Jerry and Linda Horn.

Edward spent his workdays driving an auto transport truck and in his free time enjoyed playing video games, reading comic books, making the best salsa and eating Tacos. He enjoyed being with his 4 dogs and 2 cats, restoring old Coleman lanterns and smoking and grilling outside.

His family described him as a big hearted and loving man who was late to everything and unpredictable.

Edward is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Virginia Horn, and his Maternal grandparents Brady and Sarah Couch.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Linda Couch Horn Birmingham of Maud, Texas;  his father and stepmother Jerry and Deborah Horn of Texarkana, Arkansas;  half-brother Gabriel (Amanda) Horn of Sherwood, Arkansas; stepbrother Byron (Stephanie) Horn of Romance, Arizona; uncle Eugene Horn of Nash, Texas and his aunts Doris Osieczanek of Ft Walton Beach, Florida, and Judy (Rex) Duncan of Maud, Texas, along with multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 19 at 2:00 pm in the chapel at Chapelwood Funeral Home, Nash, Texas with pastor Tim Strebeck officiating. Casual dress is requested. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Texarkana, Arkansas.  A reception will follow at Hickory Street Baptist Church fellowship hall following the burial.
