Jesusita “Susan” Orta Pringle, 74, of Nash, Texas, sadly passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in Texarkana, Texas. Jesusita was born on October 14, 1950, in Lyford, Texas, to Alejandro and Rafaela Orta.
She studied Nutrition and Dietetics at St Michaels, where she worked as a Dietitian.
She enjoyed golfing, fishing, snorkeling, boating, the ocean and traveling to different places. She loved to collect antiques, love to garden and to look at all her beautiful plants.
She is survived by her five siblings, four children, ten grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
She is preceded by her parents, Alejandro and Rafaela Orta; a sister, Maria Franklin and her husband, JG “Pete” Pringle.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 4505 Elizabeth Street, with the Reverend Fr. Michael Adams officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Chapelwood Funeral Home, Nash, Texas. A funeral Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm.
