Melba Jo Fox, age 73, of Doddridge, Arkansas died on November 4, 2020 at a local hospital surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Fox was born September 1, 1947 in Merced, California. She was a member of the Red Hatters and enjoyed crocheting and reading. She was an awesome artist, loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandkids. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Huckobey.
She is survived by her high school sweet-heart, best friend and husband of fifty-five years, Samuel Fox; two sons and daughters in-law, Samuel Ray Fox II and his wife Linda of Arroyo Grande, California, Andrew Joseph Fox and his wife Mollie of Doddridge, Arkansas; two daughters and sons in-law, Michelle Buckley and her husband Darrin of Clovis, California, Nori Bryson and her husband Dale of Glenmora, Louisiana; seven grandchildren, Shawn and his wife Leslie Stevens, Colten Fox, Aly Widick, Carter Fox, Landon Fox, Mandie Fox, Keziah Bryson; three great grandchildren, Teagan Stevens, Laz Wilson, Marshall Stevens and a host of other friends and relatives.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
