Infant son to Trevor Herrick and Kassidie Vann, 8 months old, went home to be with his heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in Arkansas Children’s Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Tommie was born on October 18, 2025, in Texarkana, Texas. Though his time on earth was brief, Tommie was deeply loved and brought immeasurable joy and hope to his family. Tommie especially seemed to enjoy Spider-Man and the sweet lullaby his mama lovingly sang to him.
He is survived by his parents, Trevor Herrick and Kassidie Vann, both of Genoa, Arkansas; his grandparents, Rick and Christy Herrick of Shreveport, Louisiana; Terry Vann of Domino, Texas; and Buffie McCarty of Austin, Texas; his great-grandparents, Pierce Ardell Vann and Mary Ann Vann, both of Genoa, Arkansas; his uncles, Joshua Herrick and Nicholas Holmes; his godfather Austin Waldon and his wife, Nicole his godmother, Sierra Boddye and Brock Boddye and a host of friends and other relatives.
A Celebration of Tommie’s life will be 2:00 P. M. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with Pastor Takumi Nishiuchi officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M., one hour prior to Service time.
