WILLIAM LUMMUS JR
William L. Lummus Jr, age 84, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, May 15, 2023, in a local hospital.
Mr. Lummus was born October 3, 1938, in Queen City, Texas and was a member of the RLDS Church. He was retired from the United States Army and was a hotel security guard.
He is preceded in death by his son, William Mark Lummus.
Survivors include his wife, Edith J. Lummus of Texarkana; one daughter, Donna Monholland of Longview, Texas; one grandson, Brian Monholland; three granddaughters, Amy (Lance) Sustaita, Jill (Marcus) Cisneros and Dana (Ryan) Fountain; five great-grandchildren, Abigail, Leah, Caroline, Levi, and James; one sister, Joyce Hillhouse; two brothers, Billy Lummus and Danny Lummus.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, May 22, 2023, at Chapelwood Funeral Home. The burial will be at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
The body will lie in state Sunday from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
