Candi Lynn Talbot, age 43, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. She was born on May 30, 1982, in Texarkana, Texas, to Terry Porter and Jerry Essman.
Candi found joy in the simple things in life. She loved keeping her home tidy, and cooking meals for those she loved. She also enjoyed relaxing with a good movie and being surrounded by her family.
Those who knew Candi describe her as a loving and caring person who would give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. Her generous heart and kind spirit will be missed by all who knew and deeply loved her.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Les Horton.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Treasure Peoples; son, Titus Talbot; granddaughter, Lainey Ray; mother, Terry Porter; father, Jerry Essman; sisters, Kayla Sprawls and Ashley Gerald; grandmother Mary Horton; special friend, Glenn Scott; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Texarkana Funeral Home – Texas Chapel.
