A brushfire that got out of control destroyed two trailer homes and threatened other homes Monday afternoon.
Liberty Eylau Volunteer Fire Department along with aid provided by Wake Village Fire Department arrived on scene and prevented the fire from spreading to surrounding homes.
According to radio traffic the burned structures were vacant.
