Scout-O-Rama returns to Spring Lake Park in Texarkana, Texas and the Boy Scouts of America, Caddo Area Council and Girl Scouts Diamonds Council of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas are inviting the whole family to join us for a day of Scouting fun Saturday, April 22.

Scouts will be swarming the park all weekend but Saturday the public is invited to come learn more about Scouting in all of its many forms and fun. Scout-O-Rama will be open to the public Saturday from 10:30am to 4pm. Boy Scout Troops, Venture Crews, Sea Scouts, Webelos, Cub Scout Dens, Girl Scouts and more, travel in from all over the four states area for this regional Scout show and love to show off the skills they have learned through Scouting.

Come hungry and bring a $5 bill to purchase a chili bowl and sample some of the best chili in the Ark-La-Tex during our 2nd annual ICS sanctioned chili cook off. Chili will be served from noon until 3PM.

If you know a Texarkana area Scout please purchase your Chili Bowl ticket from them so they can earn all of their 2017 Scout-O-Rama memorabilia at no cost. You will be helping that Scout, his Troop and the Caddo Area Council at the same time. Chili bowl tickets will be available at the cook off area gate as well.
