Police catch group of vandals with stolen property

On Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 1:00am, Texarkana Arkansas Police responded to Sugar Ridge Lane in reference to multiple calls of a suspicious vehicle traveling around the neighborhood. One of the victims advised that the front glass door had been shot out by a possible air soft or BB gun. Both victims described the suspect vehicle as a grey mini-van.

According to Texarkana, Ark. Police Department, Sgt. Sam McJunkins was in the area searching when a grey mini-van matching the suspect vehicle description passed him at a high rate of speed. Sgt. McJunkins turned his vehicle around and was able to catch up to the suspect vehicle on Lakeridge Drive.

Inside the vehicle were six individuals:

  • Alexander Frey, 18yoa W/M of Texarkana, Texas
  • Jordan Labrie, 20yoa W/M, of Texarkana, Texas
  • Kade Mansfield, 18yoa W/M of Ashdown, Arkansas
  • Madalyn McDonald, 21yoa, W/F of Texarkana, Texas,
  • and two 14yoa W/F juveniles of Nash and Texarkana, Texas.

Texarkana, TX. police arrived and continued the investigation which led to the recovery of 3 rifle style pellets guns, 2 swords, a large knife, and various prescription medications. Most of the property recovered is suspected to be stolen previously from a residence in Bowie County, Texas, according to police.

Police say that thankfully only property damage was caused during this incident and no one was seriously injured.
