2016 Veteran’s Day deals in Texarkana

This Veterans Day, Friday, November 11th, 2016, restaurants, stores and other establishments in Texarkana are thanking our military by offering discounts and specials that will take place all day Friday. Many are offering special discounts off entire purchases, free meals and free services to veterans and members of the military.

Below is a compiled list of places around Texarkana which will be offering special discounts:

Applebee’s – Vets and active service military can have their pick from 7 different entrees from a special limited menu. The meal will be free of charge. Must show proof of military service. (Beverage & gratuity not included)

Buffalo Wild Wings – Free Wings all day long on Veteran’s day for veterans as well as active duty military who dine at their local BWW can receive a free small order of 10-12 traditional or boneless wings and a side of fries.

Chipotle – Show your military ID, and receive buy one get one free. Includes bowl, burrito, taco or salad. (beverages not included)

Chili’s – Veterans and active service military receive a free meal on Veterans Day from a special Veterans Day menu. (Beverage & gratuity not included)

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store – Veterans receive a complimentary Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake dessert to veterans and an opportunity for guests to make purchases that support the United Service Organizations (USO).

Copeland’s – Veteran’s eat free from lunch menu 11 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Denny’s – From 5 a.m. to noon, all veterans and active-duty personnel get a Build Your Own Grand Slam meal, with possibilities including pancakes, eggs, bacon, fruit, and hash browns.

Golden Corral – From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., anyone who has ever served in the U.S. military is welcomed to a special sit-down dinner, free of charge.

Hooters – 5 different items to choose from – active military or veteran.

Hopkin’s Icehouse – Customers with military ID receive 50% off on Veteran’s day. Discount offered at downtown location and Gibson Ln. location.

IHOP – From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., all veterans and active-duty military members are welcomed to one order a piece of Red, White & Blue Pancakes, which come with glazed strawberries (red), blueberry compote (blue), and whipped cream (white).

JcPenney – 5% off entire purchase

Longhorn Steakhouse – Free appetizer or dessert or 10% entire entree

Lowe’s – 10% off entire purchase

McDonald’s (Texarkana, Atlanta, Ashdown, Leary) – Offering a free meal to all veterans after the parade on Saturday.

On the Border – Veterans and active service members will receive a free choose 2 or choose 3 combo. Dine-in only, Must show proof of military service. Beverage not included.

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt – All veterans, retired and active-duty military personnel receive one free cup of froyo, up to 11 ounces, on Veteran’s Day. To claim the offer, customers should provide proof of military service, such as a military ID card, uniform photo, honors, badges, or come dressed in their military uniform.

Outback Steakhouse – Customers with military ID get a free Blooming Onion appetizer and free non-alcoholic beverages

Ruby Tuesday – Free Appetizer up to $11.99 (Proof of service required)

Red Lobster – November 10th and 11th, veterans and active military receive a complimentary appetizer or dessert.

Smallcakes – Veterans receive a free slice of a specially decorated Veteran’s Day cake

Sportsclips- Free haircut for all veterans

Texas Roadhouse – Free lunch for all veterans, choice from 10 items. Includes Coca Cola product, ice tea, or coffee.

Wing Stop – Customers with military ID receive 10% off on Veteran’s day
