10:15 p.m. Tuesday | Authorities are still searching for a man that lead them on a short chase down 2148 and Highway 82 Wednesday night before running over stop sticks and wrecking out.
It’s not clear at this time why authorities first attempted to stop the vehicle.
Shortly after the chase started an officer deployed stop sticks near Highway 82 and F.M. 2148 which caused the car to wreck out at 82 and Old Boston Road. The suspect fled into a wooded area south of Highway 82 at Old Boston Rd.
Bowie County Sheriff’s Office, Nash Police Department, and Texas DPS were all on scene searching for the suspect.
