Students across Texas will be taking the STARR test this week. Testing starts on Tuesday and continues through the end of this week.
Fourth and Seventh graders will be tested on writing skills. Fifth and eighth graders will take tests for math and reading.
Students must pass the STAAR test in order to move onto the next grade level.
