TEXARKANA, TEX- City of Texarkana, Texas City Secretary Jennifer Evans issued the first ever beer and wine sales permit in the city today, December 18, 2014 at approximately 3:15 p.m. The permit was issued to Super 1 Foods’ representative Frankie Conway, who says beer and wine will be sold as early as tomorrow at their location on Richmond Road.
Conway said Super 1 Foods sent in an application to Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) on December 2, 2014.
“The process overall was very smooth and fairly quick,” Conway said. “We are looking forward to serving our customers with an even larger choice of products in our store.”
