A Texarkana man lost his life yesterday in a two vehicle accident in West Memphis, Ark. on Interstate 55.
According to an Arkansas State Police preliminary fatal crash summary 22 year old Charles Chad Wilcox Jr. was traveling north on I-55 at the 3 mile marker Thursday morning when traffic stopped due to highway construction. Wilcox driving a 2011 Dodge truck failed to stop and made contact with a 2011 Volvo also traveling north.
Wilcox and an unidentified juvenile were pronounced dead. No injuries were reported in the other vehicle.
According to WMC Action News 5 a woman whose current condition is unknown was also in the truck.
