4:30 A.M. Multiple police & fire agencies responded to an 18 wheeler on fire at 2148 & I-30. It appeared the Car Carrier 18 wheeler fully loaded with cars had departed the west bound travel lane tore through the guardrail and came to rest on FM 2148 bursting into flames.
Troopers with the Texas DPS have now confirmed that 2 people died in the crash.
Westbound lanes of I-30 were closed for about an hour while firefighters extinguished the flames. Multiple small explosions could be seen and heard.
