Mark your calendars! The 8th Annual Railfest is coming to Texarkana on May 11, 2019. The festival will take place at Festival Plaza in downtown Texarkana and will feature excellent food, crafts, contests, play areas, and an evening concert.
Daytime events will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and include:
- Kids area: Kiddie Train, Bounce Houses, Face Painting, Selfie Station, Cornhole, Washers and Horseshoes
- Stage: Music the entire day
- Vendors: Craft and Food Vendors in Festival Plaza
- Contests: Facebook contest where you can enter to win tickets to the evening
Admission to the daytime events is FREE!
At 7:00 p.m. the concert’s opening act, Dusty Rose, will hit the stage. Then, at 9:00 p.m. the main act, Austin-based singer and songwriter Parker McCollum, will perform live. You must have a ticket to attend the concert. General Admission tickets will be $20 in advance, $25 the day of the concert and can be purchased at any Texarkana Road Runner or online. VIP tickets are $50 and will only be sold online. Each VIP ticket includes 1 ticket to the concert, special seating in the VIP tent and dinner from SilverStar Smokehouse.
