First Annual Thriller Flash Mob to take place in Downtown Texarkana


You may picture the busy streets and bright screens of Times Square in New York City when you hear the words “Flash Mob,” but on Saturday, October 29th, Texarkana will have its very first Thriller Flash Mob performing in Downtown Texarkana, and you can be part of it!

This Thriller Flash Mob is part of the Downtown Texarkana Fall Festival Thriller Community Experience and will host anĀ open Rehearsal every Monday, beginning on September 12th, at 7 p.m. in Downtown Texarkana Arkansas at 211 E. Broad Street.

Though that’s just the beginning of the excitement – the Flash Mob will pay tribute to Michael Jackson’s Thriller with a parade of dancing zombies.

This thrilling fall event encourages locals from all walks of life, dance levels and age groups to participate in a free community experience.

Hundreds are expected to peacefully gather in Downtown Texarkana on Saturday, October 29th, 2016 to walk and retrace the dance steps of the legendary 1983 Michael Jackson hit music video “Thriller.”
