Forty-one Gold First Division rating medals were collected by Texas High School band students during the Region IV UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest held on February 7 in Sulphur Springs, TX. Twenty-two were for solo performances and 19 were earned for ensemble performances. Twenty-one of these students will now advance to the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest which will be held in Austin in May.
