Grease Fire Causes Evacuation of Applebee’s [VIDEO]

5:30 p.m. Saturday | Texarkana, Texas Fire Department responded to Applebee’s for fire and black smoke coming from the enclosed dumpster area connected to the rear of the building.

Heavy smoke and flames could be seen coming from the dumpster area as the first fire trucks arrived on scene.

Firefighters quickly put out the fire before any significant damage was done.

According to an Applebee’s official everyone got out of the restaurant safely and no damage was done inside the restaurant.

According to an employee the fire started from the grease from a brisket cooking.
