Home Invasion Suspect Arrested – Moores & Sidney

Texarkana Texas Police arrested a suspect in a Home Invasion around Moores Lane & Sidney.  Police responded to a call from a neighbor of a person with a black mask breaking into the back window of a neighbors house.  When police arrived at the scene a neighbor said he saw a male taking off a ski mask entering another neighboring house.  Police quickly made entry into that house and soon came out with a black male in handcuffs.

According to Sergeant Brower, public information officer for TTPD,  the man has been charged with “Criminal Trespass of a Habitation”.

Texarkana, Texas Police were dispatched to a burglary in progress call on April 24, 2014 at approximately 12:00pm in the first block of Sidney Drive.
Officers were dispatched to the residence because someone wearing a mask was climbing through a window into a house on Sidney Drive. The resident observed Kwesie Wilson, 36 years old or Texarkana, Texas, enter her window. The resident advised that Wilson was wearing a mask, and when he observed her he went back out of the window. A witness advised he saw a black male wearing a mask come from behind the residence. The witness also advised that he observed the suspect, Wilson, take off the mask and run into a nearby residence. Officers located the suspect in a bedroom of that residence. Wilson was arrested for Burglary of a Habitation and transported to the Bi-State Justice Building.
