Interstate 30 closed in Fulton due to crash involving hazardous chemicals

The 18 Wheeler roll over holding up I30 toward little rock. It's rolled over a fulton but backed up all the way to texarkana. We sat in traffic almost an hour before we got to it.

According to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department Interstate 30 westbound lanes are closed between the 12-18 mile markers due to an accident involving a tanker trunk carrying chemicals.

The accident happened around 3 p.m. Friday afternoon.   According to radio traffic, the interstate was closed in both directions around 7 p.m.

According to the AHTD traffic website idrivearkansas.com, traffic is congested all the way back to Texarkana in the eastbound lanes.   All traffic is being diverted to Highway 67.
