The house was fully involved when crews arrived at the scene. Capt. David Grable of the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office said his team was dispatched at 10 p.m. He said the case is still under investigation.

According to the LE Fire Dept., an elderly man managed to make it out of the house and was tended to by LifeNet, yet refused medical treatment. About an hour after leaving, LifeNet was dispatched back to the scene by request of fire fighters. The man was then transported to a local hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
