2:15 P.M. Monday | An unmarked narcotics unit requested a marked Wake Village Police unit with assistance in stopping a vehicle near the traffic circle in Wake Village. A nearby Marked unit attempted to stop the car and, according to radio traffic, the vehicle pulled into an apartment complex made a loop and started running back down Redwater Road.

The suspect vehicle collided with a Hope Fire Extinguisher Van in the curve on Westlawn Drive near New Boston, Rd. At least one occupant of the vehicle then fled on foot across New Boston, Rd. and was apprehended by Texarkana Texas Police Officers behind the Bancorp South Building. No one was injured in the wreck.
