The Red River at Pecan Point near DeKalb is predicted to reach flood stage levels by Thursday according to the National Weather Service.
A Flood Warning has been issued for the Red River Near DeKalb from late tonight to Friday afternoon.
As of 4:00 p.m. Wednesday the river was at 22.4 feet, flood stage is 24.0 feet.
Minor flooding is forecast and no road or bridge closures should be expected.
