Richmond Rd. Walmart Market evacuated after man claims to have bomb in backpack

2:15 p.m. Thursday | Texarkana, Texas Police and Fire have evacuated Walmart Neighborhood Market on Richmond Rd. due to a bomb threat that occurred Thursday afternoon.

According to a Walmart employee a man walked into the store and set a backpack on the ground and told a cashier that it was a bomb.

According to an employee police arrested the man. Fire and police have shut the store down and are standing by. TXK today will update as we learn more.
