A cold front front will approach from the northwest on Wednesday and cross the region through Thursday. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible across southeast Oklahoma and adjacent counties across southwest Arkansas and northeast Texas late Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night. Large hail, damaging winds, localized flash flooding, and isolated tornadoes will be possible with thunderstorms. A break in thunderstorms is expected on Thursday.
Thunderstorms will be possible each day Friday through Monday. .
The primary threat with any severe storms will be very large hail, damaging wind gusts, and isolated tornadoes.
