At approximately 6:30 pm on October 26, 2014, officers were dispatched to a business located in the 1100 block of Walton Drive in reference to a shoplifting in progress call. When Officers arrived on scene they made contact with Ernest McGettes, 46 years old. McGettes gave a false name and date of birth. Officers attempted to handcuff McGettes, and he resisted arrest. McGettes was arrested for Failure to Identify and Resisting Arrest. He was transported to jail.
