Storm Causes Multiple Wrecks, Power Outages, and Dark Traffic Lights [VIDEO]

6:00 P.M. Wednesday | A storm front with high winds and heavy rains came through Texarkana keeping first responders busy this evening.  Texarkana Airport Weather Station reported wind gusts as high as 52 MPH which had power lines and trees down various spots throughout the city.

Kings highway at Old Redwater Rd & Highway 67 had no traffic lights.  There were at least two wrecks that required LifeNet response.  One was New Boston Rd at Westlawn and the other Buchanan Loop & Spring Creek.  Neither had major injuries.
