School will soon be in session for Texas students next week.
Parents have come to count on the Texas sales-tax holiday that starts this Friday, August 9th and ends Sunday, August 11th.
Area businesses will not be applying the state sales-tax to purchases of:
- School supplies
- School art supplies
- School instructional materials
- Clothing and accessories for items less that $50 each
- Clothing and shoes selling for less than $100 per item
