Only 200 teachers from the United States were invited to attend the all-expense paid professional development program.

THS teachers selected to attend are:

Jenny Walker teaches English II along with REACH III & IV in 10th – 12th Grades.

For the past three years, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has sponsored a series of national ECET2 conferences which bring teachers together to share their success and challenges while elevating the profession. The national conference is designed for teachers and by teachers.

ECET2 hinges on the fact that nobody knows teaching like teachers. In addition to teacher-designed workshops, the conference also brings teachers together in Colleague Circles, a collaboration structure that allows teachers to continue to learn from each other beyond the meeting.
