Carla Reed offered an update to the TISD graduation story that ran on TXK Today Monday, in which her husband, Pete Reed, was not allowed to see their son graduate even though he had a ticket in hand and arrived at the ceremony’s locale prior to 2 p.m.
“We did receive a call from Mr. (Paul) Norton, the superintendent of TISD. He sounded very apologetic. He realized that their plan in place needs some improvement. He seems genuinely concerned, and we believe he will do something to improve upon the procedure for future graduating classes,” Reed said.
