A woman and her dog died in a house fire in Texarkana, Texas Sunday afternoon.
The fire happened around 12:30 p.m. in the upstairs apartment of a unit in the 600 block of Belt Road.
Firefighters found the unresponsive woman in the apartment. Her body is being sent to Dallas for an autopsy.
The woman’s name has not been released.
