BUBBA’S OBITUARY

Jimmy Lynn “Bubba” Davis, Jr., age 66, of Texarkana, Texas, passed from this earthly life on Monday, July 6, 2026, in Jackson, Tennessee Hospital.

Bubba was born on December 17, 1959, in Texarkana, Arkansas, and lived in Texarkana most of his life.  He was the owner and operator of Crazy Horse Coal Plant in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. Jimmy took great pride in building and operating his company. He was known for his strong work ethic, practical knowledge, and unwavering dedication to providing for those who depended on him. He gained the respect of colleagues throughout the industry. Above all, Bubba was a loving father and devoted son. His family meant everything to him. He was a caring man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Jimmy was also a dreamer who never gave up. No matter the obstacles he faced, he approached life with determination and optimism.

When Bubba was not at work, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing. He attended First United Methodist Church, Arkansas, with his mother.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Lynn Davis, Sr., and one brother, Jeff Davis.

He is survived by his mother, Patsy Griffin of Texarkana, Texas; two daughters, Elizabeth Davis and Alexandria Jewell; and one son, Austin Davis; two sisters and one brother-in-law; Christi and Greg Deloach, Cindy Mock, and one brother, Jeff Griffin; and a host of friends and other relatives.

Arrangements are pending with Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.  A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
