Susan Gail Graham, age 69, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, August 2, 2026 in a local nursing center.
Mrs. Graham was born March 11, 1957. She was a caregiver and member of the Beech Street First Baptist Church.
Proceeded in death by her mother and father Patricia and Charles Hicks, her sister Patricia Rollins, and brother Charles Hicks Jr.
She is survived by one son Brian Hicks of Texarkana Arkansas, one daughter Joy Graham of Texarkana Arkansas, four grandchildren Christen Hicks of Texarkana Texas, Dalton Hicks of Texarkana Texas, Aleeia Beed of Texarkana Arkansas, and C.J. McGary of Texarkana Arkansas, her husband John Graham of Texarkana Arkansas, one brother Jimmy Hicks of Florida, and a number of other relatives and friends.
She was the proudest granny/nanny who loved and adored her grandchildren. She was a member of Beech Street Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her church friends. She enjoyed playing bingo and reading books. She loved watching pro football, she was not a fan of the “Cowgirls” as she would say. She always told it like it was and never apologized for being her. She wanted her final saying to be “thats all folks”.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 6, 2026 at the Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 prior to the service.
