Gary Vandeaver and Chris Spencer are headed for a runoff for Texas House District 1.
Texas has scheduled the runoff election for Tuesday, May 28.
Unofficial results show Gary Vandeaver with around 46% of the vote, Chris Spencer 43%, and Dale Huls with nearly 11%. A candidate must get at least 50% of the vote or a runoff election is triggered.
