Man Accused Of Molesting Girlfriend’s Younger Sister
TEXARKANA, Texas–A 19-year-old man is in custody on a charge of sexual
assault of a child for alleged misconduct with the 14-year-old sister of a
woman he was living with in December.
Allan Alemendares Ramos allegedly assaulted the girl – who was spending the
night on Christmas – in the early morning hours of Dec. 26 after the older
sister went to bed, according to a probable cause affidavit filed Thursday.
Ramos allegedly gave the girl a couple of shots of a brown alcohol before
he began telling her he was going to teach her how to kiss “because she had
never even kissed a boy before.”
Ramos allegedly forced himself on the girl in the living room of the
residence after pulling down her shorts and panties, the affidavit said.
The girl reportedly pretended to be asleep after the assault so that he
would not do it again, the affidavit said.
The following day, Ramos allegedly bought the girl perfume and interrogated
her regarding whether she told anyone, even going through the girl’s phone,
the affidavit said.
The girl reportedly texted a family member asking that her mother pick her
up. The girl allegedly had seen Ramos handle a gun and was afraid of what
he might do if he learned that she had told her family.
Ramos has been in custody since Jan. 10, records show. He is being held in
the Bowie County jail with bail set at $200,000.
If convicted of sexual assault of a child, Ramos faces two to ten years in
prison.
The case has been assigned to Fifth District Judge Bill Miller.
